01 Aug Sea Star Rocks
Let’s talk luxury! …
Talking luxury can only mean one thing in Cape Town…. Camps Bay!
Driving down Theresa Avenue, Camps Bay, you will find this hidden gem.
One thing that really attracted me to Sea Star Rocks was the beautiful décor, and art inspired pieces.
The public areas are all clothed with designer touches, from art-inspired décor, to beautiful coffee tables, a wide selection of fine wines, Sea Star Rocks will leave you in awe.
On arrival I felt right at home, a warm welcome note awaits you in your room, chocolates on the bed and don’t forget the complimentary mini bar and Sea Star Rocks wine collection.
Those who know me know I love two things: Wine and Coffee!!!
…At Sea Star Rocks you will find both. Our suite was sooo spacious and beautiful, located on the first floor, offering an amazing 180 degree view overlooking Camps Bay beach, Bakoven and Lions Head. When we arrived I wanted to just take in the beautiful views that our suite had to offer, so I obviously jumped right into the Nespresso cappuccino machine, and brewed a fresh cup of coffee to enjoy on the private balcony. A wide selection of Nespresso branded coffee options is available in the room, at no extra charge (winning!!)
The most inviting HansGrohe rain shower, and a luxurious bathtub with the ever famous Charlotte Rhys luxurious bath, body and lifestyle products, will definitely add to your ultimate relaxation.
As the sun was busy setting, I could only think of one thing and that was to enjoy snacks on the balcony with a lovely glass of Sea Star Rocks Collection 2013 Chardonnay, bottled in the beautiful wine valley of Franschhoek.
For dinner, we decided to be real snobbish and order in 😉 Sea Star Rocks will gladly assist you with any “order-in” options, should you wish to enjoy dinner in your comfy king-size extra-length bed.
Psssst, can you spot the absolute gorgeous Scotch and Sofabed lamps?? Like how gorgeous are they?
The next morning I was sooo excited to wake up. Sundays are usually for “sleeping-in” but I just couldn’t resist watching the sunrise approaching, with my Nespresso coffee in hand.
Breakfast was served in bed at 09h00 AM as we requested– spoilt right?? We got a lovely selection of cold options and we ordered pancakes from the hot selection. The food was absolutely amazing, and they even serve chocolate bars for breakfast (*wink wink*).
