Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is centrally located in Franschhoek with many restaurants bustling nearby. It offers easy access to local wineries and is even walking distance to the Franschhoek Wine Tram shuttle and the exact reason why we booked this lavish boutique hotel – to explore Franschhoek on foot, as one should.
The hotel has 12 beautiful individually decorated rooms, each with their own flair. We stayed in the beautiful Sapphire Room. She was bold and beautiful, with a Victorian blue bath, a lovely fireplace, and views of the Franschhoek Valley.
As a day activity we enjoyed the Franschhoek Wine Tram with friends, this is a must-do for all wine lovers and those seeking a day out. We did the Blue Route, and I can highly recommend. Mont Rochelle was my favorite farm to visit on this route and offers amazing platters and snacks which we thoroughly enjoyed.
After the tram it was back to the hotel and deciding where to go for dinner. Next to Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is a lovely Italian style restaurant so we decided to try it out. We had amazing pizza and pasta and what I loved most was, it was literally just a step outside of our hotel room. – winning!
After dinner, it was time to relax in the Victorian bath and enjoy some down-time with the sizzling fireplace in the background.
Mornings at the Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is quiet, beautiful and you end up standing on the balcony in awe of Franschhoek’s beauty. After our morning coffee we headed out to breakfast which was ready for us when we arrived. The breakfast was plated as to our order on check-in. it eliminates waste and is a safer way to enjoy breakfast during the current times.
