19 Oct Wine and Horse around in Plettenberg Bay
Wine, Horse & Carriage – what could possibly be more romantic? Yep, my thoughts exactly.
This activity can be found along the amazing up and coming Plettenberg Bay wine route.
The tours are provided by Hog Hollow Horse Trails located in The Crags and bookings are essential.
There are different options to choose from and they can be enjoyed privately or in groups. Costs would then vary depending on which option of tour you choose.
We chose the tour that takes place at Kay & Monty Vineyards. The tour started with a welcome drink on arrival, you then meet the beautiful horses outside. Of course, I was so overwhelmed and in awe of the beautiful creatures.
Strolling through the Kay & Monty Vineyards while our guide was informing us about the different wines, the estate itself and some history, we took in every minute of this romantic horse and carriage ride whilst sipping on beautiful wines and enjoying our snacks.
You could easily pair lunch with your tour should you wish to include this in your booking.
I am already looking forward to doing this again with my fiancé. T his is such a perfect activity whilst on a romantic getaway, honeymoon or anniversary celebration.
I loved this activity because not only is it unique, but you don’t really find this anywhere else in South Africa – truly unique.
